Yama is a high-end boss encounter with a chance to continue into Radiant Yama after a regular kill. Radiant Yama is the harder chase version, with its own collection log and reward table.

How to get there

Open ::tp and go to the Bosses tab.
Select Yama.
Speak to the Voice of Yama to start a new encounter.
A second player can join before the fight begins, but the instance will not accept extra players after the fight is already underway.

Fight basics

Bring strong combat gear, prayer supplies, food, and movement awareness. Yama punishes players who stand still through mechanics.
Watch for shadow-based attacks. Protection prayers alone are not the answer to every hit.
Glyph mechanics matter. When the fight calls for a shadow response, use the correct glyph instead of trying to tank it.
Move away from dangerous ground effects and avoid stacking avoidable damage with normal boss hits.
If fighting with another player, stay aware of each other's position so mechanics do not overlap badly.

Radiant Yama

After regular Yama is defeated, the encounter can continue into Radiant Yama. Radiant Yama is faster and more punishing, so treat it as a second fight rather than a free bonus kill.

Rewards to watch for

Radiant Yama has its own major chase rewards and improved Yama-style loot.
Radiant Yama has its own collection log.
Completing the Radiant Yama collection log rewards a $500 Bond, regular Yami, and a Doom-Signed Page.
Shiny Yami is a separate chase and is not the collection log completion reward.

Quick tips

Learn regular Yama cleanly before chasing Radiant attempts.
Do not panic after the regular kill. Be ready for the fight to continue.
If you are learning duo Yama, agree on movement before starting so both players do not run through the same danger zones.
