The slayer perk tree is a separate progression track from slayer points. It is paid for entirely in Blood Money, and it upgrades how your slayer tasks behave rather than what you can be assigned.

How the tree works

Every perk has a Blood Money cost and one or more prerequisites, so the tree is unlocked in order rather than picked at random. Perks contribute to three separate scores:

Drop rate, applied to monsters on your current slayer task
Preserve chance, the chance a kill does not consume task count
Blood Money tier, how much Blood Money your task kills return

The tree begins with a shared trunk of six perks. At the end of the trunk you unlock Branch Rights, which lets you commit to one of three branches. Each branch ends in a Commitment perk and then a Final perk, and both of those permanently lock you onto that path.

Commitment and Final perks are path-locking. Once bought you cannot switch branches, so decide which branch suits your play before you reach the 350,000 step.

Trunk

Everyone buys these six first, in this order.

Hunter branch

The drop rate branch. Pick this if your goal is loot from task monsters rather than task throughput or Blood Money income.

Apex Hunter is the single largest drop rate perk in the tree.

Blood branch

The income and sustain branch. Pick this if you want Blood Money to fund the rest of your account, and you like healing off your task.

Blood Reaper carries by far the highest Blood Money tier in the tree, so this branch pays for itself faster than the other two.

Executioner branch

The throughput branch. Pick this if you want to finish tasks quickly and reach task streak milestones sooner.

Task Executioner has the strongest preserve chance in the game, which means a large share of your kills do not count against the task and tasks last far longer per assignment.

Total cost

Each branch costs 2,000,000 Blood Money from Hunter I through to the Final perk. Added to the 110,000 trunk, a completed path costs 2,110,000 Blood Money.

Which branch to choose

Hunter if you are chasing specific task drops and already have income sorted.
Blood if Blood Money is your bottleneck. It funds itself and the healing keeps trips longer.
Executioner if you value task streaks and want the fewest interruptions per assignment.

All three branches include a Superior perk at 225,000 that improves superior spawn rolls, so superior hunting is not a reason to favour one branch over another.
