The perk tree is a permanent account-wide upgrade system, separate from your skills and from the slayer perk tree. You earn perk points by levelling the tree, spend them on perks, and each perk can be upgraded through five levels.

Open it by speaking to the Perk Master at home.

Earning perk points

Every perk tree level awards perk points. The amount depends on the level number, with larger payouts on rounder levels:

Supporter rank adds to every payout on top of the base:

Supreme Donator	+4

Bronze Supporter does not receive a bonus here. Perk point scrolls, which are also handed out by the daily vote streak, are a second source of points.

Perk sets

Perk sets are the reason perk choice matters beyond raw stats. If you have every perk in one of the listed combinations active at the same time, you gain an extra set bonus on top of the individual perk effects.

Each resistance set is built from perks of a different style to the damage it resists. Magic Resistance is a ranged perk set, Melee Resistance is a magic set, and Range Resistance is a melee set. Check the list rather than assuming.

Where to start

Early perk points go furthest in the attack speed perks for whichever style you use most, since they apply to every fight you take. Once you have a style covered, pick a set from the list above and work toward completing it rather than spreading points thinly, because the set bonus only pays out when all five are active at once.
