Apex uses Edgeville as its home area. It is where you log in for the first time, where nearly every teleport route starts, and where most of the shops and utilities sit within a few steps of each other.

Get there at any time with ::home or ::edge.

The restoration pool

This is the single most useful thing at home, and new players routinely miss it because it works automatically. Walking into the home area fully restores you:

Special attack energy back to 100%
Run energy back to full
Prayer points fully restored
Every drained stat returned to its base level
Hitpoints restored to maximum
Poison and venom cured

You do not need to click anything. Entering the area is enough. There is no cooldown, so it is normal to teleport home between kills purely to reset your stats and special attack.

The pool does not fire while you are in the Wilderness or inside the Theatre of Blood.

Spellbook altars

Altars at home let you switch between spellbooks freely. Praying at one swaps your book and cancels any autocast you had set, so remember to set autocast again afterwards.

Switching spellbooks at an altar also counts toward the Oh Cul achievement.

Shops

The home shops are split by combat style and by skill, so you rarely need to travel for basic supplies. Right-clicking a shopkeeper usually gives more than one option, with weapons on one option and armour on another.
