Seasonal Event

Halloween has taken over Apex

The Halloween event has two main parts: haunted boss rotations and magical pumpkin hunts. Bosses give pumpkins while the event is active, and pumpkins can be turned in to Death for Halloween event points.

Quick Commands

::hweenbosses opens the active Halloween boss rotation.
::pumpkin helps players follow magical pumpkin hunt broadcasts when a hunt is active.
Talk to Death to open the Halloween shop, check points, or see active bosses.

Haunted Boss Rotation

Five bosses are active for the Halloween event at a time. The active set rotates through the day, so different PvM spots become worth checking as the event moves around.

Kill active Halloween bosses for a chance at pumpkins.
Use the Halloween boss interface to avoid guessing which bosses are currently active.
Bring pumpkins back to Death when you are ready to spend them.

Magical Pumpkin Hunts

During the event, magical pumpkins can randomly appear around Apex. When a hunt starts, the server announces the area so players can race there and search.

Up to 15 magical pumpkins can be hidden during a hunt.
Each magical pumpkin can be claimed once.
Common hunt areas include Varrock, Falador, Lumbridge, Draynor, Ardougne, Seers' Village, Yanille, Canifis, Edgeville, Al Kharid, Catherby, Taverley, Burthorpe, Port Sarim, Rimmington, Barbarian Village, Camelot, Rellekka, Brimhaven, Shilo Village, Hosidius, Lunar Isle, Zanaris and Mos Le'Harmless.
If a hunt is active, move quickly. These are first-come, first-served.

Magical Pumpkin Loot

Finding a magical pumpkin gives pumpkins that can be spent through Death. A magical pumpkin normally gives 2 to 4 pumpkins, and it also has a chance to contain an Autumn Mystery Box.

Regular pumpkins are the event currency. Hand them to Death to receive Halloween event points. Each pumpkin is worth 100 Halloween event points.

Death's Halloween Store

Death trades Halloween event points for limited-time rewards. The shop is split into useful rewards, scrolls and cosmetics so players can choose between account value and collection pieces.

High-value rewards

Halloween masks: Blue, Green and Red Halloween masks are the biggest point saves in the shop.
Mystery boxes: Donator Mystery Box, Apex Mystery Box, High-tier Mystery Box and Slayer Box give players gamble-style reward options.
Sigils: Critical Hit Sigil and Health Siphon Sigil are premium event purchases.
Combat effects: Armour Break, Special Saver, Respect Dead, AoE Swipe, Siphon Dead and Damage for Hire options are available for players who want utility over cosmetics.

Scrolls

Double EXP Scroll for faster training.
Double Drop Scroll for boosted farming sessions.
Damage Boost Scroll and Damage Reduction Scroll for temporary combat help.
Slayer Task Pick Scroll and Slayer Skip Scroll for Slayer control.
Perk Point Scroll for account progression.

Cosmetics

Scythe and Rubber chicken for classic event flex items.
Ugly Halloween jumpers, Jack lantern mask, Hell cat ears and Cat ears.
Witch outfit pieces, Spooky and Spookier sets, Clown set, Gravedigger set, Halloween wigs and Evil chicken outfit pieces.

Best Way To Play

Check active bosses first, then farm the ones you can kill comfortably.
React to magical pumpkin broadcasts when they appear, especially if you want quick points.
Spend early points on useful rewards if you are progressing, or save for masks and cosmetics if you are collecting.
